Postdoctoral position

A postdoctoral position for two-five years is available at the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest.

The laboratory is studying the mechanisms and plasticity of the interaction of neuronal activities within the hippocampal circuits using in vitro electrophysiological recordings (paired recording from synaptically coupled neurons, recording from axonal terminals) and correlated anatomical methods. Funding is provided by the Wellcome Trust and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in neuroscience, proven track record in electrophysiological experimental procedures and/or neuroanatomy, and a keen interest in neurophysiology of the hippocampus.
