A position for a postdoctoral fellow is immediately available at the Division of Physiology, Medical University Innsbruck (http://physiologie.i-med.ac.at/). This position is part of the ncRNAPain multidisciplinary project funded by the European Commission under FP7.

Minimum qualifications:
•PhD/MD or similar advanced degree
•proven ability to plan and carry out the experiments
independently
•strong background in molecular biology (qPCR, cloning, optogenetics, heterologous gene expression, in situ hybridization), viral vectors, non-coding RNAs and interest or experience in bioinformatic analyses of complex data sets.
•ability to work in a team
•the successful candidate must be fluent in spoken and written
English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills

The ideal candidate will be expected to independently plan and conduct projects, write publications as well as supervise and teach students.
