Postdoc position, Max Delbrück Centre, Berlin, Developmental Biology/Signal Transduction

A postdoctoral position is available in the group of Carmen Birchmeier at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin to dissect the function of transcription factors during neuronal differentiation. The work will focus on mapping of transcription factor sites and study of the functional interaction of such factors using ChIP-Seq, Chromosome Conformation Capture and CRISP/Cas9 technologies.

Our lab is primarily focused on the functional analysis of genes important in embryonic development and adult stem cells, concentrating on the nervous system, skeletal muscle and endocrine cells. For our work, we combine mouse genetics and cell culture analyses, and define molecular mechanisms using genome and proteome technologies. The ideal post-doctoral candidate would have previous experience with embryonic stem cell differentiation and/or molecular analysis of transcriptional control mechanisms.

To apply, please email a cover letter, curriculum vitae and contact information.
