The Nolan lab at the University of Edinburgh (http:nolanlab.mvm.ed.ac.uk) is seeking to recruit a postdoctoral research fellow to apply novel molecular tools to investigation of circuits in the entorhinal cortex that are important for grid cell firing (http://tinyurl.com/op4p4zq). Strong enthusiasm for the research area is essential and experience with optogenetics and electrophysiology or molecular biology will be advantageous.
