Postdoctoral position – implementing novel labeling technology to study mRNA translation in neurons in vivo.

A postdoctoral position is available at the Rosenblum lab, Sagol Dept. of Neurobiology, University of Haifa, to study the roles of translation regulation in synaptic stability and memory consolidation, using a combination of molecular biology and advanced optical techniques (Confocal and 2P) in cell culture and brain slice preparations.

Candidates should hold a PhD degree. Experience with molecular biology, light microscopy techniques, and image analysis is a strict requirement. Experience with electrophysiological techniques is an advantage.
